To play Blackjack you must first place a bet (say €10). Two cards are dealt face up to you and one to the dealer. Your aim is to make your cards total more than the dealers but not go over 21 (bust) which forfeits your bet. You may ask for additional cards amd once you've decided to stop taking them the dealer begins adding cards to their hand. They must draw a card if their total is less than 17 and stop once they reach 17 or more. Over 21 (bust or 'to many') and the players hand wins if it is still live.

If your total is higher than the dealer's or the dealer has bust, then your bet is paid at even odds, that means you win an amount equal to your bet. A Blackjack is a two card hand consisting of a picture card (that includes 10s) and an Ace. That pays 3/2 (€15 for €10), for the player. If your total is lower then you lose your bet and if equal then you get your money back (a stand-off, a push).

Basic Strategy & Early Payout Online Version

Overview

  • Continue with the Basic Strategy ‘NEXT PLAY’
  • Accept the “EARLY PAYOUT” offered, suspending subsequent action on that hand.
    – All player hands will be dealt to completion
  • Until Basic Strategy would STAND or;
  • Until the hand BUSTS (goes over 21)
    – For hands that will Double or Split player may:
  • Elect to ‘Not Double’ his bet
  • Elect to ‘Play Only One Hand’

What is Basic Strategy & Early Payout?
Basic Strategy is simply the best way to play every possible situation.

Early Payout, is an offer at each stage of the game to payout on your hand, based on the cards dealt so far, and the dealer's "up" card.

Strong hands are offered higher Early-Payouts than weaker hands The Early Payout figure is calculated, based upon the average expected outcome of the hand as dealt, and the Dealer's "up" card

You may choose to allow the game to continue using Basic Strategy, or to take the Early Payout.

If you choose to take Early Payout, then any additional cards dealt to your hand are not included in your final result.

If you choose to allow the hand to be dealt to conclusion using Basic Strategy, then the final result is evaluated against the dealers completed hand
