Business Poker League 2009

The Fitzwilliam Business Poker League will run once again when there are sufficient teams interested in participating.  If you would like to enter a team, email info@fitzwilliamcardclub.com and we will keep your name on the list.

 

We welcome teams of 5 people from businesses/organisations in the local area to sign up to this league which will take place over a period of 8 weeks and will run from 6pm – 8pm every Monday evening.  A light supper will be served beforehand at 5:45pm.  Texas Hold’em poker is a very enjoyable and social pastime and a special trophy will be awarded to the winning team upon conclusion of the League. 

Business League Details

  • Texas Hold’em Poker with professional poker dealers
  • Teams will consist of 5 people (with 2 optional substitutes)
  • League runs on a Monday evening for 8 weeks duration
  • A maximum of 10 teams can enter into the league
  • League will take place from 6:00pm, scheduled to finish at 8:00pm
  • A light supper will be served at 5:45pm
  • Cost of entry: EUR 200 per team
  • EUR 50 booking deposit required. EUR 150 balance due on the 1st night

The first Business Poker League 2009 reached a dramatic conclusion on Monday 23rd March when a heads-up shootout with Irish Life gave Bank of Scotland Ireland 1 the title after both teams finished level on points after 8 weeks of play.
