Cash GamesThe Fitzwilliam Card Club caters for a range of private cash poker games on a nightly basis. These range from a €25 buy-in up to a €250 buy-in. A €25 No-Limits Cash Game is also on offer, subject to demand. Blind structure: €0.50/€1.00 - sign up at the Poker Desk in the Club. A €250 buy-in game is run on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. Cash Games start from 6.30pm every evening and run until 9:00am on weekdays, 11:00am on weekends.
Players can now sign up to the waiting list for all cash games via the touchscreen at the Poker Desk, any time of the day. This touchscreen also provides an instant update on a players accumulated poker hours for the Cash League. Cash Game Charges
The Club collects €1 from each pot over €20 in our cash games. 75% of this money goes towards our Cash League Final. The remaining 25% funds the Bad Beat Jackpot. Cash Game Poker LeagueThe Cash Game Poker League operates on a 3 month basis, with the Cash League Final taking place every 3 months. More details here. Bad Beat JackpotThe Jackpot is won if a player in a cash game loses with a holding of Aces Full of Jacks (in Hold’em) or Four-of-a-Kind (in Omaha), or better. The loser of the pot receives €2000, the winner receives €1000, and €1000 is split evenly between the remaining players who were dealt into the hand. For the Jackpot to be won, the following criteria must be met: 1. The losing player must use both of their hole cards. 2. In the case of Aces full being beaten in Hold’em, the losing player must hold an ace in his hand. 3. There must be five or more players at the table. As the Bad Beat Jackpot can only be won when there are five or more players at the table, when there are less than five, we will only collect for the Cash League. A euro will be taken from 3 out of every 4 pots in this instance.
